One month until Summer Reading!

Summer Reading Program

June 1 marks the start of Summer Reading in Scottsdale - and this year's theme is "LIBRARIES ROCK"! You can sign up online from the library's website, and track your family's progress through a simple online program. Summer reading is for the entire family with programs catered to Adults, Teens and Youth. Earn prizes along the way, while discovering new entertainment at the library!

We're looking for Teen Volunteers

Teen Library Volunteer Sign Up

The Scottsdale Public Library is looking for friendly, energetic, responsible teens between the ages of 14-17 to help with our Summer Reading Programs. Earn volunteer credits, learn new skills, and be part of a team! Applications are accepted online until May 11.

Sandra Day O’Connor

Sandra Day O'Connor is a retired Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States, serving from 1981 to 2006. She was the first woman to serve on the Court. Chief Justice (Ret.) Ruth McGregor of the Arizona Supreme Court speaks about Justice O'Connor, her early life, lessons learned, and her time on the Court.
