Meet Scottsdale Library's new Director

Hello everyone. My name is Kira Peters and I am honored to serve as Scottsdale's Library Services Director.

My professional experience includes 27 years of leading teams in a wide variety of City of Scottsdale Community Services program areas. I have enjoyed working in the fields of Aquatics, Senior Services, Leisure Education, Special Events, Youth Development and I have been lucky enough to experience managing operations at the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park.

I am inspired by Scottsdale's Library System. I am inspired by the library staff and volunteers who provide excellent services to all library guests. I am inspired by the beauty and feel of our libraries. I am inspired by what the future holds for Scottsdale libraries. I am ready to get to work.
