Discovering Music

(ages 5-8) Learn to read music and build tonal and rhythmic competency. Participants will be able to try out a new instrument each week. Please register to save your spot. Attendance at all four weeks is encouraged. This program is supported in part by a grant from the Scottsdale Cultural Council.

Life Beyond the Earth?

Is there intelligent life beyond the Earth? And if so, why haven't we found it?

Are we the only ones here? What elements are needed for life? How likely is it that life might have evolved elsewhere? If there is life out there, why haven't we detected it yet? Are there aliens? Mark Johnston, NASA Solar System Ambassador, explores these topics, shows the latest discoveries and provides some interesting conclusions.
