Summer Reading

Have you signed up for our FREE Summer Reading Program held by the libraries here in Scottsdale! All you need to do is read, log your points online and win prizes all summer long! The program runs from June 1 and lasts until Aug. 1.

Kids, teens and adults of all ages are all invited to participate by logging their minutes online and earn rewards along the way. Participants will also receive a free book upon completion of the program. Join us in all the fun!

Chris Lopez Magic Show

Professional magician Chris Lopez will inspire wonder and lots of laughs in his new 2019 show, "A Universe of Stories." This improv comedy and magic show is appropriate for all ages, so bring the whole family! Space is limited, so please see a staff person 30 minutes prior to the program for a ticket which will be your registration.

Memory Café

Memory Cafés are designed for community members with Alzheimer's or dementia (along with their caregivers). The underlying idea is to provide a public space to go and have a wonderful interactive social experience.

Scottsdale Public Library is excited to offer a new service with Acorn TV! Watch world-class mysteries, dramas, and comedies from Britain and beyond through a streaming video service that can be used with any web-connected device. Start from our library website or use the RBDigital app for unlimited access.

Parks and Recreation Fall Registration

Believe it or not, it's almost time to start planning Fall activities – and Scottsdale Parks and Recreation has you covered. Keep your eyes peeled for the Fall edition of Scottsdale Life – it includes everything happening in Parks and Recreation, the Scottsdale Public Library, Senior Centers, Human Services and Preserve from September through December.

Palomino Closed

Palomino Library will be closed until July 23, while work on the A/C system continues.
We will update our website should that change.

  • All hold items for Palomino Library can be picked up inside Mustang Library during their normal business hours.
  • If you would like to pick up your hold from somewhere other than Mustang, please call 480-312-READ.
