
National Novel Writing Month
November is National Novel Writing Month, also known as NaNoWriMo, which encourages people of all ages to write a goal of 50,000 words of a novel by the end of the month. Come by any of the drive-thru windows, curbside, or inside Civic Center Library or Mustang Library to claim a free journal, while supplies last, to help with your writing journey.
Thanksgiving Crafty Storytime
(ages 2-5) Gobble, gobble! It's turkey time! Join Ms. Jen and her special guest for this Thanksgiving Crafty Storytime where you can make a turkey to bring to Thanksgiving dinner (turkey not edible!). Pick up a craft kit (while supplies last) starting Thursday, Nov. 12 at any of the drive-thru windows, curbside, or inside Civic Center Library and Mustang Library during open hours, then tune in on the library's YouTube channel at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 19 to learn how to make your turkey craft.
