Mustang Library Re-Opens
Mustang Library building re-opens on Monday, March 1 and resumes its previously reduced hours. Capacity inside the building will be limited to maintain social distancing inside the building. The drive-thru window remains open for people to pick up holds. Help us celebrate nature's slowpokes with this engaging crafty storytime. We will be creating snail sun catchers in honor of these cool gastropods. Craft kits can be picked up, while supplies last, starting Thursday, March 4 at any of the drive-thru windows, curbside, or inside Civic Center Library and Mustang Library during open hours. This two-session workshop on Thursday, March 11 and Thursday, March 18 will teach participants how to get the most out of searching the web. Learn about free apps that can help with creating documents, translating foreign languages, storing data, and more. Participants should be ready with a Google account for use and attend both classes to get the full benefits. Register online to receive a link and additional computer materials. Celebrate the earth by making your own paper. Make your own paper frame or check out a paper making frame (supplies are limited) starting Saturday, March 20 with a valid library card from any of the drive-thru windows, curbside or inside Civic Center Library and Mustang Library during open hours. The digital magazines are moving to the Greater Phoenix Digital Library and can be read off their website or via the Libby app. Magazines like The Economist, The New Yorker, and US Weekly, along with many more ranging from health to hobbies to current events, are always available with just your library card.
