Engage your brain at this entertaining program in which Mark Carter will demonstrate that there is science in everything we do. Space is limited, so please see a staff person prior to the start of the program to receive a ticket, which will be your child’s registration.
Mark's fun and exciting topic for this event is "Air Powered Toys”! This IS rocket science! Learn how to make and fly an amazing contraption called a Tumble Wing. Mark will demonstrate an air pressure car made with recycled plastics, a balloon hovercraft that flies across a table, and more. Then, watch Mark levitate a ping pong ball, a light bulb and a beach ball six feet in the air. The grand finale will be the Air-Zooka…but you will have to join us to find out what it is and what it can do! Wow-ZOOKA!
