Sales tax, spending limitation items head to November ballot

Minimum Permits

Minimum Permits are required for most single-family residential electrical, mechanical and plumbing work (excludes gas piping). These types of improvements are classified as "minimum" permits and can be obtained online with a credit card. The inspection process is used to ensure a correct installation per the building codes.

Some common examples are:

  • Replace gas water heater
  • Replace pool pump
  • Plumbing for a water softener
  • Replace electric/gas water heater
  • Relocate panel box
  • Sewer line repair
  • Repair broken water lines
  • Electrical re-wire
  • Replace main breaker
  • Air conditioner change out
