Arizona travel writer Roger Naylor will discuss his book The Amazing Kolb Brothers of Grand Canyon which covers the remarkable life of two of the canyon’s most significant pioneers and legendary photographers. Roger Naylor’s work has appeared in the Arizona Republic, The Guardian, USA Today, Arizona Highways, and dozens more. For years he has written for the official Arizona State Visitor Guide and in 2019 was chosen to write the Grand Canyon National Park Centennial Magazine. In 2020 he was chosen to be the narrator of the Verde Canyon Railroad. Register.

Scottsdale Fall Festival is moving to Scottsdale Civic Center – and we're leveling up the fun! This free, family-friendly event features something for everyone: live band, DJ, magic show and for the first time ever – a cocktail garden. Kids can fill up their bags in Trick-or-Treat Alley, explore the Pumpkin Patch, enjoy carnival-style games, crafts, face painting and hands-on activities. Visit information booths hosted by city of Scottsdale departments to learn about upcoming projects and connect with staff. Don't miss out on "Tales from the Haunted Stacks" – a spooky library experience where storybook monsters come to life. Costumes are welcome but not required to join in on the fun.
