Agency Spotlight: Phoenix Rescue Mission

Agency Spotlight: Phoenix Rescue Mission

Phoenix Rescue Mission (PRM) works every day to bring Christ-centered, life-transforming solutions to people facing hunger, homelessness, addiction and trauma. Guided by the vision of bringing love, hope and transformation to every neighbor in the Valley. PRM reaches some of the community's most vulnerable residents with compassion and practical help by providing outreach and navigation services to help clients access treatment, housing pathways, food resources and assistance with legal or court-related barriers. PRM works closely with the City of Scottsdale, which funds five navigators who support unsheltered residents.

Michelle Cook, Criminal Justice Diversion Case Manager and Outreach Team Member for PRM, highlights Community House and Vista del Camino Day Relief Center as a particularly impactful partnership - providing food, clothing, showers, pet resources and a safe place for clients. Michelle describes the work as meeting people where they are - literally and emotionally. "The most rewarding part of my job is helping clients overcome barriers that feel impossible to them. Small things we take for granted can mean the world to someone who has lost hope." She supports clients in attending appointments, accessing care and rebuilding trust.

Thank you Michelle and Phoenix Rescue Mission for your continued support and partnership!
