Books2Boogie
Join us for weekly in-person storytimes! Play and learn together using books, songs, rhymes, and fingerplays to promote early learning. Dates, times and locations will be announced weekly on social media and the library’s online calendar. All storytimes will be held outside. There will be limited space, social distancing will be maintained, and masks are highly encouraged for participants ages 6 and up.

Join us Wednesday, May 19 to learn about all the materials our virtual branch has to offer, including movies, music, books, magazines, newspapers, and audiobooks, all available without leaving the comfort of your own home. Take a tour of the e-resources and learn some simple tips and tricks about accessing this whole new world with your library card. Registration is required.

Streaming Services Updates
Kanopy – Thoughtful Entertainment
We are delighted to announce a new online service, Kanopy, a movie streaming platform that provides instant access to thousands of critically acclaimed movies, documentaries, and kids favorites. Selection includes PBS, The Criterion Collection, and more. Up to six titles a month can be streamed to mobile devices, desktops, and some smart TVs.

Acorn TV
Due to the vendor for Acorn TV closing, the Library will no longer be able to offer access to Acorn TV beginning on May 14, 2021. The Library will continue to explore other services that meets the needs of our community.

Beat the Heat Outreach Program
You can bring summer relief to low-income, homebound, and isolated seniors by donating to Beat the Heat outreach program. Donation items are being accepted through May 28, and can be dropped off to Via Linda Senior Center at 10440 E. Via Linda Scottsdale, AZ 85258 from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., Monday – Friday. Monetary donations are also accepted in the form of a check.
