Fall 2022 Program Registration

Don't miss your chance to participate in Scottsdale Parks and Recreation's September, October, November and December recreation programs! Registration opens 8 a.m., Monday, July 25 for residents, and 8 a.m., Tuesday, July 26 for non-residents.

Scottsdale Summer Camp Registration

There is still time to make summer plans! Scottsdale youth summer camps run through July 22. We offer dynamic, enriching recreational opportunities that provide children a safe, comfortable place to play and engage with others. Camps are offered at Mohave Middle School, Cocopah Middle School and Desert Canyon middle school. Each location offers unique and engaging activities from STEM to dodgeball and large group games. Participants have the opportunity for weekly excursions that include trips to the Herberger Theater, iFly, SkyZone and raft races at our "Wet n Wild Day" at Chaparral Pool.

Youth can also participate in arts & crafts, sports and high-energy games. Programs are available for youth in grades 1-8. Visit ScottsdaleAZ.gov, search "Summer Camps" for more details.

Youth Endless Summer Camps

Wrap up summer with our unique excursion camp! July 25-29, youth in grades 3-7 will experience exciting field trips every day with our recreation staff. Locations include Main Event, Sunsplash, Jake's Unlimited and more!

Scottsdale After-School Program

Scottsdale's after-school program is offered for students in grades K-6, and runs from school release until 6 p.m.; Monday-Friday at the following locations:

The cost is $650 for the year, or $65 per month; payment plans are available. Registration for the 2022-2023 school year begins at 8 a.m., Monday, July 25 for Scottsdale residents. For more information, visit ScottsdaleAZ.gov, search "After-School."

Become a Lifeguard with Scottsdale Aquatics!

Lifeguard certification class will be held July 18-20 at Chaparral Aquatic Center. This lifeguard class will be a blended learning style with an online and in-person component. The class will meet for an orientation from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, July 11.

Safety Luau

Aloha! Join us for Scottsdale's annual Safety Luau at Eldorado Aquatic Center from 4-8 p.m., Sunday, July 31. Safety components include a mock rescue and CPR training session. Then, have some fun before summer ends and do the limbo, learn to hula and enjoy the waterpark! Admission rates are $3 for adults 18+ and $2 for children.
