Stories from the Files of the Scottsdale Police Department

Bruce Wall, Scottsdale City Advisor and local history raconteur, will share some compelling local true crime stories from the case files of the Scottsdale Police department. If you think nothing notable happens in our fair city, you will be surprised. Also, be sure to drop in a few minutes early for a beverage and a light snack before the presentation.

Arts & Crafts Fair Vendor Registration

The 37th annual Arts & Crafts Fair is returning Saturday, Nov. 5 to the Granite Reef Senior Center, and vendor applications are now being accepted through Oct. 21. Space in the event is limited and vendor opportunities are available exclusively to those who sell art and/or handmade items.

Taste of Fitness at Scottsdale Sports Complex

Scottsdale Parks & Recreation is offering you an exclusive "Taste of Fitness" from 8 – 11 a.m., Sunday, Sept. 25 at Scottsdale Sports Complex! Scottsdale Salutes:
A New City Program Will Honor Those in Uniform

The city of Scottsdale is launching a new program to publicly thank veterans and military service members in the community – banners featuring them will fly from street light poles in Old Town during two weeks in November.

Nominate individuals now through Sept. 30. Veterans, active-duty service members, and members of the National Guard and reserves who live in Scottsdale, or are from Scottsdale, are eligible for recognition. Visit ScottsdaleAZ.gov and search 'salute' to learn more and submit nominations. This recognition program was initiated by the Scottsdale Veterans Advisory Commission, seven residents appointed by the City Council to advise on veterans' issues and to raise awareness of and honor veterans in the community.
