Birdies for Charity

Birdies for Charity

In partnership with Thunderbird Charities, The Friends of the Scottsdale Public Library is once again participating in Birdies for Charity. This fundraiser works just like a walk-a-thon, where you pledge a fixed amount (e.g. $.05) for every birdie scored during the 2023 WM Phoenix Open from Feb. 6-12. In 2022, a total of 1,422 birdies were made at the tournament. This is a great way to support your local library as the Thunderbirds absorb all fees and provides a 10% bonus for donations once $500 is reached in pledges.

To make your pledge, visit Birdiesforcharityaz.com and select Friends of the Scottsdale Public Library as your charity. Pledges must be made by 5 p.m. Feb. 13.
